You are welcome to Matsue the exciting joint event of 13th Russia/CIS/Baltic/Japan Symposium on Ferroelectricity (RCBJSF) and International Workshop on Relaxor Ferroelectrics 2016 (IWRF).
The joint RCBJSF-IWRF conference consists in scientific presentations and discussions covering a broad range of topics associated with ferroelectricity. The main objectives of this conference are to provide a unique oppotunity to discuss latest progresses in different aspects of ferroelectrics and promote this field.
The conference venue is the capital city of Shimane prefecture and is situated on the historical region. You will discover the region's rich culture and history during the conference. We are looking forward to seeing you in Shimane in 2016.

The Matsue city is the capital of Shimane. It has a history of 400 years as a castle
town. With a moat surrounding the castle, Lake Shinji and Nakaumi Inland
Sea, it is rich in waterscapes and is called "City of Water". The
neighboring city, Izumo is full of historical and cultural properties such
as Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, the oldest shrine in Japan.
