Climate

    It is confortable season in Matsue in May. Sunny and cloudy weather are expected every day. (But, we recommend you to bring your rain gear.) The average temperature in May is between 10 ℃ (morning) and 25℃ (daytime).

   The fresh green leaves of trees are wearing bright color. Someone says that May in Matsue is the most beautiful and confortable.

   Lake line buses are convenient for visiting tourists. They run a circular route (50 minutes in total) stopping at almost of all the major historic and sightseeing spots in Matsue. Money exchange

   You may not pay by credit card in small shops in Matsue. So we recommend you to have some Japanese yen in advance. Most useful note is thousand- yen bill. Almost all vending machines accept this bill.


   In Matsue, you can exchange your money(RUB, USD, EUR) into yen at the counters of the main and branches of “Sanin Godo Ginko” bank. Banks open from 9 am to 3 pm.

The nearest branch of “Sanin Godo Ginko” to Matsue Station is “Matsue-ekimae Shiten” (Tel:0852-24-6350), which is located on the west side of Matsue station. It takes about 4 minutes on foot from the north exit of the station.
    Another branch near the conference site is also available.
