Laboratory

Graduation research

Students in our laboratory study quantum phenomena in strongly-correlated electron systems realized in low temperatures and high pressures. The study is performed mainly using the experimental technique of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The students will understand their target materials and quantum phenomena, and learn how the research is performed.

Seminar of undergraduate students

We read the textbook of the NMR to understand its principle. In 2022, we read “Principles of Magnetic Resonance” written by C. P. Slichter.

Seminar of graduate students

Each graduate student reads the recent articles related to his/her topics, and presents the content using slides. Through this seminar, students learn how to read articles and understand topics.
