結晶が示す多彩な性質の起源を調べたり、新しい性質を引き出す研究を行っています。 固体物理には多くの既存の研究テーマがありますが、当研究室では研究の新しい潮流を作り出すべく、エネルギーの低いフォノンをキーワードとして、構造のゆらぎと伝導電子が織りなす新奇な現象の開拓に挑戦しています。
With a foundation in solid-state physics and solid-state chemistry, our research focuses on uncovering the origins of various material properties exhibited by crystals and on developing new properties. While many established research themes exist within solid-state physics, our laboratory aims to create a new trend in research: using low-energy phonons as a key concept, we challenge to explore novel phenomena that arise from the interplay between structural fluctuations and itinerant electrons.
