1) Soil nitrogen transformation: availability of nitrogen, immobilization, mineralization, nitrification.

2) Organic matter decomposition: aggregates, carbon dynamics, litter supply, turnover rate of organic matter.

3) Resource utilization in soil - plant (mostly trees) systems: nutrient, phenology, productivity, woody plant.
